Ancient Guardian | Battle Overview
The Ancient Guardian is the final boss of the Hidden Depths DLC. Just like the Elder Guardian, it can fire a beam from its eye, but it also spawns mines on the ground and can summon an Elder Guardian as well.

Ancient Guardian Attacks and Abilities
Beam Attack
The Ancient Guardian fires a beam from its eye that deals continuous damage over time as long as you are getting hit.
Spawn Mines
The Ancient Guardian can also spawn mines on the ground that explode, dealing damage in an area.
Summon Elder Guardian
The Ancient Guardian can also summon an Elder Guardian to fight alongside it.
Invulnerability
Each time the Ancient Guardian loses 25% of its health, it will go out of bounds and will become invulnerable for a certain period while firing beams until it comes back to the main area.

Block or Avoid the Beam
The Ancient Guardian's beam can be blocked by structures, so you can either stick behind structures or avoid the beam by running or rolling away from the beam's trajectory. Alternatively, you can use a Totem of Shielding to block the beam.
Stay Away From Mines
The Ancient Guardian's mines all deal damage in an area, so you can get hit by them even if you are not directly on top of them, so try to stay out of the mines' reach and wait for them to explode before approaching the Boss again.
Eliminate Elder Guardian
Once the Ancient Guardian summons an Elder Guardian, you might find yourself overwhelmed if you keep focusing on the Ancient Guardian, so try to eliminate the Elder Guardian first then focus on the Ancient Guardian again afterward.
