The Drowned Necromancer is a new mini-boss in the Hidden Depths DLC. It attacks with a rotation of projectiles while summoning Drowned to fight alongside it.

Drowned Necromancer Attacks and Abilities

Lightning Strikes

The Drowned Necromancer can strike bolts of lightning in different patterns, whether in a line or in a circle around it. Purple circles are marked on the ground to indicate where the lightning bolts will strike.

Blue Projectiles

The Drowned Necromancer also launches blue projectiles of varying number from its trident that move at a moderate and avoidable speed.

Summon Drowned

The Drowned Necromancer will also occasionally summon Drowned to attack you up close while the Necromancer attacks you from afar with its projectiles.

Since there are purple circles on the ground that show where the Drowned Necromancer's lightning will strike, get out of the way once you see the circles on the floor. The gap between the markers showing on the floor and the lightning striking down gives you ample time to avoid the lightning strikes.

Dodge Blue Projectiles

The number of blue projectiles that the Drowned Necromancer launches is random, but even if it launches multiple, they move at a reactable speed, and you can run and roll away from the projectiles if you keep your distance and anticipate them.
