Power is a feature in Minecraft Dungeons that determines how good your current setup is. Read on to learn more about up to what point you can raise your power!

How to Raise Your Power

Based on Gear Average

Your character's Power is calculated based on the average power of all 6 of your equipped gear and artifacts. This number helps you and the game determine how well your setup should perform against the mobs on a certain difficulty of a mission.

Equipping gear and artifacts with higher power will increase your character's overall power, and therefore make dungeon runs easier.

Keep Builds in Mind!

That said, power does not affect anything on its own, and is simply an estimate of your character's total strength, so be sure your equipment makes an effective build before rushing into combat.

What is the Max Power?

Not Decided by Level

The power level of the gear and artifacts that you can obtain from the Wandering Trader, Blacksmith, and Missions scales with your current power and not with your character's level.

Current Max Power is 113

Currently, the maximum power of gear and artifacts that you can obtain is 113, even though missions at the highest difficulty shows that the max is 112 (if your current power is close to the limit).

This also means that the highest possible average power that your character can achieve is also 113, assuming that all 6 pieces of your gear and artifacts have a power rating of 113.
