Mission Objectives

 Explore the Monument Follow the objective marker and eventually, you'll reach a series of bridges that go lower and lower. You can land on each bridge by rolling from the ledgeless sections of the bridges. At the bottom, you must face an Elder Guardian. After the battle, keep moving forward. |

 Take the Conduit Eventually, you will reach a pillar surrounded by a barrier-like formation. Take the conduit on top of the pillar. This lets you breathe underwater without using bubble pockets. |

 Find the Beacons After taking the conduit, you must find two beacons in the area. The way to each beacon is blocked by a gate, and you must place the conduit on a block beside each gate to pass through. |

First Beacon You must find the real blue key amidst a sea of fake keys and insert it in the blue gate, then activate the beacon afterward. |

Second Beacon Once you enter the room where the beacon is found, the way back will be blocked by a gate, and waves of mobs will spawn. Activate the beacon and defeat the mobs to return back to the main area. |

Dive Deeper into the Monument After activating the beacons, follow the objective marker. You will reach a platform near an unreachable entrance to another area, and you will be blocked by two gates. A wave of mobs will spawn, and the platform will descend. This will repeat until you reach the lowest level. Folllow the objective marker again afterward. |

Find the Creature's Lair You will eventually see a large, black creature with one eye, and you must find your way to its lair by following the objective marker. |

Defeat the Ancient Guardian You must now fight the creature, the Ancient Guardian. Run away from its beam and attack after it finishes firing, and avoid the mines that it spawns as well. |

Leave the Monument After beating the creature, exit the mission and head back to camp. |
Boss Strategy Guide
Elder Guardian
You will encounter an Elder Guardian during the first objective of this mission, and the Ancient Guardian will summon one as well. Find cover to block its beam then attack back afterward.
Ancient Guardian
The Ancient Guardian is the final boss of the Hidden Depths DLC, and like the Elder Guardian, it fires a beam toward you, so you must find cover or run and roll away from it. It also spawns mines, and you should stay away from the range of their explosions.
