List of Weapons

Minecraft Dungeons has been shown to include a variety of both melee and ranged weapons, from hammers to bows that shoot flaming arrows. Learn all about the variety of weapons found in the game!

How to Use Weapons

Weapons are what you use to bring down the baddies. Players can equip weapons with a variety of stats and effects to battle their way through the game.

Weapons each have Power, Speed, and Area or Ammo stats, as well as a base Damage stat. These affect how the weapon is used in combat, so be sure to choose Weapons which best suit your play style and the Armor you've chosen for your character.

Melee and Ranged Weapons

Minecraft Dungeons uses both Melee and Ranged Weapons, and each player will have one of each equipped at all times. Players can effortlessly switch between a sword and a bow to take out enemies both close by and far away in a single swoop!

Enchantments

Players can also add Enchantments to their weapons to add additional effects and further specialize their weapons. Adding an Enchantment which matches a weapon well can make for a deadly combo!

Salvaging Weapons

As you progress through the game, you'll frequently switch out for superior Weapons and Armor found on your adventures. You can put your old Weapons and Armor to good use by salvaging them, which will yield some amount of Emeralds; in addition, the Enchantment Points already spent on that Weapon will be returned. Be sure to Salvage your old gear so you have plenty of Enchantment Points to soup up your new Weapons with!
