Nah. Redstone Monstrosity is far easier than Mooshroom Monstrosity. Redstone Monstrosity doesn't have a lot of health compared to Mooshroom Monstrosity. Actually, everything. Redstone Monstrosity is inferior to Mooshroom Monstrosity.
This boss is the easiest in the game. Only use melee and you'll never have to deal with his ranged attack, which is by far the hardest to counter. When you're in melee range he'll only use his big ground attack which is easy to counter. If you get swarmed by mooshrooms, use the hill formation at the easternmost part of the map (by the water). Since he moves so slowly, you can reliably camp there and move around a little to make sure his path finding always keeps him on the other side of the hill
I had to equip 3 gongs of weakness and use it against it. It doesn't stack but I can extend the duration when the effect is almost finished.
This is the most sturdy boss in the game. It took me 10 mins to kill it and used all my extra lives.
It's because you got too far from him and you approached him while shooting the projectiles. Just stay close and dodge his smash attacks and he will not shoot projectiles.
