
The first week of February has come to a close, and the gaming sphere is as lively as ever. New game reveals, major updates, expansions and DLCs have been announced left and right. A number of them made their way to the February 2026 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Although it was met with lukewarm reception, the event showed that the Switch 2 is gearing up to be a strong console despite its tiny size.

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Reveals Demos and New Titles

The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase was streamed live on February 5th, announcing a variety of games coming soon to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles. Highlights include the release of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and PRAGMATA’s demos on the Nintendo eShop, as well as the global reveals of games such as Kyoto Xanadu and Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse.
Horizon Hunters Gathering Set For A Horizon-Style Co-Op Action Experience

The Horizon franchise continues its foray into multiplayer co-op games with the announcement of Horizon Hunters Gathering, an upcoming tactical co-op action RPG set in the Horizon universe. Play with up to three other players as Hunters, tasked with protecting civilization from hostile mechanical monsters.
Neverness to Everness (NTE) Launches Prologue Gameplay Trailer

Neverness to Everness (NTE) welcomes its Co-Ex Beta Test with a brand-new gameplay trailer, featuring The Hypervortex, one of the Anomalies players will get to battle in the full game. The 12-minute trailer showcases its intuitive, high-fidelity combat gameplay, blending in with its cinematic storytelling.
Escape From Tarkov x Escape From Duckov, Collab Of The Year?

Two same but different worlds collide in the upcoming Escape From Tarkov and Escape From Duckov collaboration, announced through the games’ official social media channels. Tarkov is set to enter the world of Duckov starting February 10th, but there has yet to be any announcements or sightings of suspicious little quacks in Norvinsk.
Stardew Valley Welcomes Two New Marriage Candidates in 1.7

Stardew Valley updates are still going strong as developer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone confirmed that two new marriage candidates will be added to the game’s 1.7 update, and are set to be revealed on February 26th, the classic farming simulator’s 10th anniversary date.
