How to Get Candles

Import from Trading Post

As of Early Access version 0.7.955, you can only acquire Candles through trading. If you have a surplus of Regional Wealth, you can opt to build a Trading Post and import candles directly.

  1. Build a Trading Post
  2. Select Trade Then Go to the Candles Row
  3. Change the Setting to “Import”

Build a Trading Post

Construct a Trading Post. It will be located in the construction tab under the “Trade” buildings. It only costs 4 Timber and should be ideally placed along the King's Road for easier access to merchants.

How to Trade - Trading Post Guide

Select Trade Then Go to the Candles Row

Once you've constructed the building, select it, then go to the “Trade” tab. From there, look for the Candles row.

Change the Setting to “Import”

Go to the Candle row and change it from “No Trade” to “Import”. Trading for Candles will cost you 16 Regional Wealth per unit, so make sure your settlement is rich enough to trade!

How to Use Candles

Not Used in Early Access

As of the Early Access of the game, Candles can only be obtained from trading, and is currently not used in any building or upgrade.

Candles may be used in advanced buildings or upgrades in a future update, possibly tied to other Developments.
