Moonlit Desert Dungeon Walkthrough

Recommended Resistance

The Ice resistance will help greatly against the Antlion's breath attack and the cactuar's blizzard spells. It is not a must have but it will defnitely lessen the battle's difficulty.

Fire is useful on most enemies

There are many tough enemies with high Defense and HP, but they are almost all susceptible to Fire and the Burning effect. Burning will cut their HP in half, making it easier to deal damage to them. If you can pull off three-hit combos from there on, you'll be able to power through.

Of course, you have to weigh priorities. Casting Fire isn't going to be worth it if you're getting clobbered while trying to charge the Spell. Judge each enemy and situation, and determine whether it's better to use Fire or to just slog through.

How to Use Fire

Possible to rush through to the Boss

Moonlit Desert does not have any gimmicks to slow you down, so it's possible to rush through the entire Dungeon to the Boss Fight. If you're able to win reliably against the Boss after ignoring most of the Dungeon's enemies, you'll be in a good position to grind the Dungeon for high-level Materials.
