To unlock Rapid Plasma configuration, you need to complete the Main Quest, The Wreck.

 Super Cooling
|
Adds a new window of opportunity during cooling that, when properly timed, Supercools the blaster, temporarily preventing heat buildup. |
・Polycarbonate: x20 ・Actuating Module: x10 ・Gas Acceleration Converter: x1 |
You need all of the above materials to fully upgrade the Rapid Plasma Blaster Configuration.
