In the same area where you can find the Maintenance Room Treasure, you’ll come across a group of Maintenance Droids enjoying themselves with music and a lively atmosphere, almost like a little party.
During the events of Partners, one of the vents you crawl through will allow you to catch a glimpse of Boba Fett, with a bounty puck of Asara likely ordered by the Empire.
You can come across a live Krayt dragon in the Western Dune Sea of Tatooine, diving through the sand. Be careful about getting too close as getting caught in its maw will instantly kill you.
In the same area as the Lars Homestead, you can find a Datapad with a note written by one of the Lars about getting replacement parts for Luke's old T-16 Skyhopper toy, which was given to him as a young boy by none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi.
One of the most well-known syndicates led by Sith Lord Maul, the Black Sun, although not part of the factions present in the game, is briefly mentioned in Vail Tormin's ISB report found in Imperial Outpost 51, Tatooine.

Dokcing Bay 94 in Mos Eisley where Kay docks the Trailblazer is the same landing pad the Millennium Falcon took off from during Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.
The charred house near a moisture farm southwest of Wayfar, Tatooine, is a somber nod to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. This location marks the tragic site where Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, Luke Skywalker's uncle and aunt, were set ablaze by the Empire.
The first time you encounter this booth in Chalum's Cantina, Tatooine, a Rodian and a Twi'lek will be discussing how it's cursed, claiming that everyone who sits in it ends up getting shot.
The scorch mark on the wall is a direct nod to the scene from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, where Greedo tries to shoot Han Solo— a moment that has become a topic of heated discourse in Star Wars history.
Tosche Station is located south of Wayfar, and references one of the first lines Luke Skywalker delivered in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope about wanting to get Power Converters from there. Although Luke never gets the chance to visit before leaving Tatooine, Kay can actually stop by and explore the station.
The design and splashes of color on the outfit rewarded after gaining max reputation with the Hutt Cartel is a clear nod to Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels.
Hutt Cartel Quests and Rewards
While not exactly C-3PO and R2-D2, two very similar droids can be found inside the same room where you can obtain the Durafiber Fabric key part, inside a Crimson Dawn hideout within Boulder Forest, Toshara.

Temmin "Snap" Wexley, a prominent pilot for the Resistance during the events of Star Wars' Sequel Trilogy, and is the star of his own novel series Star Wars: Aftermath, appears as The Scavenger Expert in Akiva.
Teeka, The Hotfixer Expert in Star Wars Outlaws, is the same Jawa Trader that sold a T-16 Skyhopper to Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries.
Aside from Jabba the Hutt, Bibb Fortuna, and Salacious B. Crumb appearing in Jabba's Palace, you also can see Han Solo displayed at the end of the hallway, frozen in carbonite. This chilling sight is a direct reference to the ending of Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, where Han is frozen in carbonite by Darth Vader, then handed to Boba Fett and brought to Jabba the Hutt to claim his bounty.
The main antagonist of the entire Star Wars series, Darth Vader, first appears in one of the cutscenes during the main story quest The Truth where he has a confrontation with Zerek Besh leader Sliro Barsha. He plays a more active role in the story than just a cameo, although players cannot fight him like in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
