Before you unlock Money Drop, finish the Hutt Cartel Opportunity unlocked after clearing The Droidsmith.
To clear the Opportunity Quest, talk to Surat Nuat in The Alcazar in Akiva.

Go to The Alcazar in Akiva and talk to Surat Nuat to start progressing the syndicate quest. |

| 2 | Investigate the Fathier Table |
 Head to the fathier table and look for the Gambler. He will give you a tip about the suspicious winner. |
|
| 3 | Check the Repair Shop |
 Go to the repair shop and talk to the merchant and technician. They will let you know where to go next. |
|
| 4 | Enter/Sneak Inside Pyke District |
 Enter the Pyke District in Akiva's Market District to reach the Pyke Sabacc Parlor. If you have a low Pyke Syndicate Reputation, you will have to go to the left, climb above a gate, and sneak around until you reach your destination. |

| 5 | Find and Spy on Weirla in the Pyke Sabacc Parlor |
 Once you reach the Pyke Sabacc Parlor, sit beside Weirla at the front bar and eavesdrop. | |
| 6 | Steal Weirla's Datapad |
 Steal Weirla's datapad using Nix when she attempts to leave the parlor. Once stolen, head over to the rendezvous point in Myrra Valley. | |
| 7 | Listen to the Secret Meeting |
 Sneak towards the tent and listen to the conversation. After the meeting, leave the area and head next to Stormhollow. Prepare to be attacked if you have a low Pyke Syndicate Reputation. | |
| 8 | Find the Fathier Clue |
 In Pyke Crystal Mine, read the datapad that can be found on the Landing Zone. | |
| 9 | Bet on the Fixed Race Using the Clue |
 Return to The Alcazar and bet on the Man from Naboo – Carmiya Nalle to win the Canto Fathier Racing. | |
| 10 | Talk to Surat in His Office |
 While on the way to Surat's office, a Pyke will bribe you to lie to Surat. During your meeting with him, a choice will have to be made: Reveal the Pyke scheme or Cover for the Pykes. The quest will end once you get your rewards from either choice. |
It is better to cover for the Pykes to significantly increase your Reputation with the Pyke Syndicate. This is because the choice Pyke Syndicate has better rewards compared to the Hutt Cartel. You will also get 1000 more Credits compared to the other choice.
