This choice occurs near the end of the side quest, Jabba's Gambit after recovering the datapad from the Pykes and escaping Toshara.

Star Wars Outlaws Stand Down

Similar to keeping Gorak's ring or giving it to Gorak, this choice has no bearing on any faction and their reputation nor does it affect the story. But, you will have a harder time escaping into Hyperspace if you choose to gun it because multiple Imperials will be on your tail.
