How to Upgrade Blaster
Visit the Trailblazer's Workbench
To upgrade the blaster, you need to go back to Kay's ship, the Trailblazer. Afterwards, find the workbench and interact with it to unlock or switch upgrades around to your liking!

The Plasma Module is the very first module you will have on your journey across the galaxy. This module is mainly used for damage.

The Ion Module is one the three modules you can unlock in Star Wars Outlaws. It is primarily effective against shields and droids.
It can also be used to power certain objects in the world.

The Power Module is the third module available for Kay's blaster. Equipping her blaster with the Power Module allows Kay to deal with strong enemies like Gamorreans, and to blast obstacles in the way to make new paths.

Blaster Modules and Upgrades are primarily gated by the key parts and materials you collect throughout the planets.
Continue on Kay's journey through the galaxy, and you will discover the required parts and materials through the story, vendors, loot, and even the journal.
