For the Plasma module, we recommend going for the Rapid configuration. This will turn your blaster into an automatic weapon, allowing you to run-and-gun enemies down.
While rapid firing, the blaster will be inaccurate if you don't pull down enough. To fix this, prioritize the Improved Accuracy upgrade.

For the Ion module, we recommended taking the Surge configuration. You will essentially have a mini-shotgun as a weapon, ideal for taking down droids.
Get the Blast Range upgrade as soon as you can to increase the range of your shots.

Since the Power module is powerful enough on its own, you can select whichever configuration you want, according to your playstyle. We do recommend Blast if you want more impact with your shots. This has the slowest charge though, so be sure to get the Charge Speed upgrade as soon as you can.
There are three types of modules you can select for your blaster: Plasma, Ion, and Power. Each has different uses, so select the ones that are appropriate for your situation or overall gameplay.
