Contracts are Fastest Way to Earn Reputation

Star Wars Outlaws Contracts
The fastest way to increase reputation would be doing Contracts via Contract Brokers, found on every planet (denoted on the map with a handshake icon).

Contracts usually task you with going to a restricted area on the planet to either steal or plant data, or go to orbit to deliver cargo. The easiest and fastest contracts to do are the ones that set in space since they're straightforward escort/delivery jobs. The ones on land usually require some form of stealth, and thus more time.

Sell Syndicate Data

Star Wars Outlaws Syndicate Data Boosts Your Reputation

Selling Syndicate Data you acquire while exploring is a good way to earn a reputation boost quickly, since you'd just have to sell it to any vendor associated with the faction. There's also no consequence for selling Syndicate Data to another faction.

Syndicate Data are usually found in Syndicate Vaults.

Do Syndicate Quests

Star Wars Outlaws - Pyke Syndicate

Doing Syndicate Quests are another guaranteed way of earning Reputation with that faction. However, the conclusions of some Syndicate Quests may present you with a choice that'll ultimately hurt your reputation with at least one faction—unlike Contracts, which you can play safe by choosing not to betray the faction that assigned you the contract.

There's also only a handful of Syndicate Quests at around only 9 quests in total.

Choosing the Faction in a Choice Scenario

Star Wars Outlaws Monda Peace

The most obvious way of getting reputation with a faction is by choosing them in the many choice scenarios spread across the story. During a choice scenario, the game will indicate the symbol of the faction being benefitted by the choice you're hovering over.

However, most story choices will end up raising your reputation with one faction while decreasing another. It's also impossible to get Max Reputation for a faction just by choosing them throughout the whole story, so you will need to end up doing the above methods anyway.

How to Not Lose Reputation

Don't Trespass Faction Areas and Engage Members in Combat

Trespassing faction areas when in Poor or Bad reputation with them will decrease your reputation for certain factions, so don't get caught sneaking in their territories. Be warned that even at Excellent reputation with a faction, that faction's restricted areas are still off limits to you. You will get deducted reputation for trespassing in them.

Obviously, don't engage faction members in combat or choose dialogue options that'll betray a faction as well if you don't want to lose even more reputation with them.
