You need to find five Transmissions first and then investigate an abandoned landing pad to start the Expert Quest, The Veteran.

| 1 | Collect On the Run 04 |
|---|---|
 Get the Transmission called On the Run 04 in the Toshara Orbit. Transmissions, in general, can easily be identified as a short and yellow crate floating in space. |

| 2 | Collect Sefin's Journey 02 |
 Find the Transmission called Sefin's Journey 02 in the Toshara Orbit. This Transmission is south of the Wreck Cluster. |
|
| 3 | Collect Sefin's Journey 04 |
 Get the Transmission called Sefin's Journey 04 in the Toshara Orbit. This Transmission is east of the Slygel Hive. |

| 4 | Collect Sefin's Journey 03 |
 Get the Transmission called Sefin's Journey 03 in the Toshara Orbit, located in the middle of Slygel Hive. |

 Find the Transmission called Collect On the Run 02 in the Toshara Orbit, located near Renpalli Station. |

| 6 | Go to the Abandon Landing Pad in Akiva |
 After collecting five Transmissions, fast travel to Myrra Valley in Akiva and then interact with MT-7 in the Abandoned Landing Pad. |

| 7 | Finish the Expert Quest |
| Completing the Expert Quest, The Veteran, unlocks MT-7 as an Expert in your Abilities tab. |
| 1 | Search for traces of MT-7's unit |
|---|---|
 Look for traces of MT-7's units. Go down the ladder and head to the right to the climbable wall. Once you've traversed it, jump to the next platform ahead and shimmy along the ledges to get to the opening. |

| 2 | Search for the 1st MT-7 unit |
 The datapad for the first MT-7 Unit will be behind a gate that needs to be powered up to open. Shoot the three power nodes nearby to open the gate. |
|
| 3 | Search for the 2nd MT-7 unit |
 The datapad for the second MT-7 Unit will just be in a cave nearby. Defeat the enemies in the cave then climb the wall to get to the second MT-7 unit. |
|
| 4 | Search for the 3rd MT-7 unit |
 The last MT-7 Unit will be further up north. Fast travel to the Sashin Settlement and head west. Climb up the wall again to reach the final datapad. |

| 5 | Destroy 5 Jammers |
 Head out to the Akiva Orbit and look for Jammers scattered in the area. The first one will be destroyed by default; you have to look for 5 more. ▼ All Jammer Locations |

| 6 | Return to MT-7 |
 Return to MT-7 to complete the quest. |

MT-7, The Veteran, will teach you abilities related to decrypting Separatist Datadiscs, Kay's health, Bacta Vials, Slicing Kit, and Nix.
Completing the expert quest, The Veteran, also unlocks the Decryption Module. The module allows Kay to decrypt Separatist transmissions that were left behind during the Clone Wars!
