Sense Nearby Objects and Enemies

Nix's ability, Nix Sense, allows him to ping objects of interest in the area, such as enemies and interactable items, making it especially useful in stealthy situations.

Pickpocket and Fetch Items

Nix can also pickpocket unaware NPCs for loose cash or items, and he can fetch quest-specific items, bringing them directly to Kay.

Access Tight Spaces and Interact With Objects

For areas that might be too small to fit Kay, you can employ the help of Nix instead to access those areas and interact with any object of interest such as levers, buttons, or vents.

Distract Enemies

In stealth missions, you can direct Nix to distract enemies, allowing Kay to move in and attack them, knocking them out.

Sabotages Alarms, Cameras, and Explosives

He can also sabotage alarms, turn off cameras, or detonate explosives to give Kay an advantage in her stealth missions.

Assist Kay in Combat

During combat, Nix is by Kay's side dishing out his own set of attacks on her command. You can make him do this by manually selecting targets or directing him with quick actions, but he can also do this automatically when he is in a stance of protecting Kay.

Protects Kay in Battle

Nix can enter an automatic attack mode by toggling Protect Kay. To activate this, hold down the LB or L1 button on your console (Q key on the keyboard), then hold the X or Square button on your controller (Spacebar on the keyboard).

Delivers Useful Items in Combat

Nix can also be commanded to deliver any loose weapons, grenades, or Bacta Vials to aid Kay in combat if he is not actively in a protective stance or being directed to attack enemies.

Cheat in Kessel Sabacc

When playing Kessel Sabacc, the cheat Nix Peek can be used to let Kay know what her opponent's hands are. This is a very useful cheat that can only be done specifically in the minigame.
