This choice occurs at the end of the syndicate quest, The Broker. You lose 500 Credits when you bribe the Officer. If you refuse, you will get a wanted status at the end of the quest.
Should You Bribe the Imperial Officer?
This choice occurs during the intel chain, Translation Services. You are able to sell the Fathier for 500 Credits if you make a modest offer and 250 Credits if you negotiate a high price.
This choice does not occur during any quest. The choice is prompted upon talking to the Windfishers in Southern Falls, Toshara. This choice has no bearing on any faction's reputation nor does it affect the story.
