Collect 5 Transmissions to Unlock The Veteran Expert Quest

After collecting 5 Transmissions, you'll unlock The Veteran Expert Quest on Akiva. Consequently, The Veteran quest will unlock the Decryption Module ability neeeded to decrypt the transmissions.

All Experts Locations

Collect All Transmissions for Disruptor Gear Set

After collecting all 16 Transmissions, you'll unlock Intel that'll lead to hidden coordinates on Akiva where the Disruptor Gear can be obtained.

G: 30	Old school cool
	Acquire the Disruptor gear set

Collecting the Disruptor Gear also gets you the Old school cool achievement.

How to Decrypt Transmissions

Finish The Veteran Expert Quest

Finishing The Veteran expert quest will unlock his ability group, and automatically unlocks the Decryption Module ability, which decrypts transmissions to reveal information.

Transmission Bug

Last Transmission Can't be Retrieved

Based on the walkthrough team's experience, one transmission crate is bugged and cannot be collected. It will appear at the specified location on the map but cannot be retrieved. So far, reloading into a previous save or restarting the game have not solved the issue.

What are Transmissions?

Collectible Encrypted Data

Transmissions are collectibles containing encrypted data, and are only found in space. They are easily identified as the short and yellow crates floating in space.

Getting all 16 transmissions will reveal a new Intel, Hidden Coordinates, that marks a location on your map that you can go to to find and receive the Disruptor Gear set.
