Gear Sets and Gear Bonuses Guide
The Imperial Disguise Gear from the Pyke Syndicate faction carries a powerful utility effect that increases Kay's ability to evade detection by Imperial enemies, and also lowers Wanted levels faster.
The gear pieces provide several Blaster-related buffs, such as increasing Blaster Power Module Damage and Heat Capacity, increasing Adrenaline gain on Blaster hits, and Supercooling the Blaster after Adrenaline Rush.
The Kijimi Explorer Gear comes from the Ashiga Clan, and gives Kay Vess significantly increased survivability at low health with its Set Bonus. Her Blaster is also Supercooled when taking down enemies at low health.
The individual pieces also synergize with taking damage, providing more Adrenaline, healing upon taking lethal damagae, and increased Bacta Vial carrying capacity as some notable benefits.
The Scoundrel Gear set bonus makes achieving the Blaster's Supercooling an easier task while also increasing the damage of the first shot after Supercooling, giving the set some combat capabilities.
The individual pieces also grant a variety of helpful effects, such as increased Bacta Vial and Grenade capacity, and reduced damage from blaster and projectile attacks.
The Boonta Brawler Gear, from the Hutt Cartel faction, makes it so that defeating enemies with grenades increases adrenaline gain, while every enemy defeated during Adrenaline Rush will replenish one Grenade.
Several of the gear pieces provide damage reduction from specific sources, while the other pieces directly buff Grenade carrying capacity and explosion radius, making this a heavily combat and Grenade-oriented set.
The Outlaw Gear set bonus focuses on gaining Adrenaline, with more buffs being provided at full Adrenaline. Additionally, the individual pieces all provide boosts to Adrenaline gain when performing certain actions.
While the set greatly increases Adrenaline buildup, it encourages sitting at maximum Adrenaline for its full benefits instead of using the Adrenaline, which can be limiting as Adrenaline powerful combat tool.
The Crimson Reign Gear from Crimson Dawn is more if you want extra utility options, as wearing the set will cause Smoke Bomb hits on enemies to charge a powerful Stun Shot, while landing the Stun Shot will reset the cooldown of Smoke Bomb.
The individual Gear pieces also further enhance stealth-related abilities, such as allowing Kay to gain health and Adrenaline on stealth takedowns, or further reducing her chances of being detected.
