Select the Celestial Valley Course
The Checklist objective can be completed in the Celestial Valley course in the Air Ride game mode. To unlock Celestial Valley, you must break 10 triangular obstacles in Cyberion Highway.

Fly Up to the Large Stump 10 Seconds After Starting
The Copy Ability panel on the tree can be found on a giant stump sticking out from above. About 10 seconds after the race starts, there will be a cliff that you can jump off from to fly up to it.
Use a Machine Like Paper Star
Since the large stump with the Copy Ability panel is quite high up, it's best to use a Machine with good flight ability like Paper Star. This Machine can stay airborne for longer periods, so it can help you reach the stump easily.
