Rare boxes appear alongside fakes as a City Trial event in Kirby Air Riders. See how to spot fake boxes, what happens when you destroy a fake one, and rewards for destroying rare boxes in this guide.

How to Spot Fake Rare Boxes

Fake Box Real Box
Fake Box
・Slightly purple
・Pattern is slightly different

・Distinctive curved pattern

When the event "A bunch of rare boxes appeared. Beware of fakes!" appear, a large number of rare boxes will spawn in Skyah.

Watch out for the slightly purple rare boxes as these are the fake ones.

What Happens When You Destroy Fake Boxes?

Explodes When Destroyed

Destroying a fake box causes it to explode and you will take damage as a result. There is no benefit to destroying fake boxes as they do not drop any power-ups. Destroying a real box, on the other hand, gives you plenty of power-ups.
