How to Win With UFO While Behind
Create a Lobby of Level 1 CPUs
It is recommended to create a lobby of four level 1 CPUs to accomplish the Checklist mission more easily. Note that UFOs will not appear in a 1v1 race; hence, a lobby of at least 4 members is required.
Select Any Long Course
It is recommended to select long courses to complete the Checklist, as it may be difficult to overtake enemies in shorter courses like Floria Fields once they're ahead.

Capture a UFO When Behind
UFOs will appear when players are behind in a race. Once it appears, use Capture to acquire its Copy Ability and take the lead.
In addition to being behind, the enemy must have a significant gap in lead for the UFO to appear. It is recommended to remain at least 110 yards away and wait for the UFO to appear.
Once captured, players must win the race in 1st place to complete the Checklist objective.
