At the Start of a Stage

At the Start of a Stage

You will be prompted to pick your machine at the start of a stage. This is a great opportunity to change your machine if you were using a specific one to clear the boss challenge.

During the Loading Screen After a Rest Area

You can also change machines during the loading screen after vising a Rest Area. This is indicated by the "Change Machine" text on the upper right corner of the loading screen.

When You Get a New Machine

When Picking Up a Machine on the Road

When you pick up a machine in the middle of a stage or buy a machine from the Shop, you will immediately swap to that machine. You cannot swap to another machine of your choice with this method.

When Retrying a Challenge

When Retrying a Challenge

Retrying a challenge will automatically bring you to the window where you can change your machine!

Challenge Cannot Be Cleared

If a challenge is too difficult to be cleared with your current machine, it is recommended to switch to another machine that's better suited for the challenge.
