Hold and release the Boost Charge button to throw the bomb! |
Wheel
|
Turn into a bike-type machine and get rolling! |
Mike
|
Show off your singing skills in a wide-reaching attack! |
Cutter
|
Press the Boost Charge button to throw a razor-sharp blade! |
Jet
|
Blast off with powerful engines! |
Steel Ball
|
Become a massive indestrucrible force! |
Plasma
|
Charges automatically. Release a Boost Charge to unleash the stored energy! |
Needle
|
Extend your needles by Boost Charging to hit nearby rivals with a spiny attack! |
Freeze
|
Cloak yourself in a freezing aura while Boost Charging. Frozen foes will slide. |
Sleep
|
Get some well-earned rest... or wiggle the control stick to wake up! |
Fighter
|
Automatically kick nearby opponents. Your Quick Spin will also get stronger! |
Drill
|
Boost Charge to dig underground and dodge attacks. Release for a jump attack! |
Flash
|
Perform a sparking rush with a Boost Dash and stun any enemies you hit. |
Missile
|
Automatically rocket forward on the road, and tap the Special Button repeatedly for an explosion! |
UFO
|
Transform into a UFO! |

When near enemies, press B to capture them and acquire their Copy Ability. The icon above the enemy denotes the Copy Ability it can grant.
Enemies with no Copy Ability may still be captured. They can be launched as a projectile that can destroy other enemies from afar.

Tap B to use the Copy Ability after a successful capture. Note that some abilities have additional inputs, such as holding B to charge the ability, using Left Stick to adjust its trajectory, and/or wiggling Left Stick .

Mash the Y button to discard the active Copy Ability. This ends the duration of the current Copy Ability, allowing players to capture another enemy for a different one.
