Break Boxes Using Quick Spin

You can destroy boxes by performing the Quick Spin. Move the left thumbstick from left to right quickly next to the box to destroy it.
You may need to perform the Quick Spin many times depending on the character and machine that you are using.
A recommended strategy is to use a machine suited for destroying boxes in the early stages of the City Trial to collect power-ups quickly and then switch to a machine that suits you best once the time limit runs out.

Appears in City Trial Mode
Boxes appear in various locations within Skyah, the City Trial map.
City Trial is a game mode where you collect power-ups within a 5 minute time limit and then battle in a stadium at the end.
Drops Power-Ups When Destroyed
Boxes drop power-ups when destroyed. Some boxes, such as the ones with an explosion logo will explode and cause damage to opponents while others drop food items that restore your machine's durability.
