List of Contents
| How to Do | 1. Approach or drive near your opponent 2. Move the L-Stick to the left and right |
|---|
The most basic way to inflict damage on your opponent is to approach them and perform a Quick Spin. A Quick Spin is an attack that is activated by moving the L-stick from side to side.
It's an effective maneuver when you're close to an opponent. It can be used at any time while the race is going on and can even be used in the air.
| How to Use | 1. Fill up your Special gauge at the bottom right of the screen 2. Press the Y button when the Special gauge is full |
|---|
Another way to damage your opponents is to use Special Moves. When the Special gauge is full, the text Y SPECIAL will be displayed in the center of the screen. Press the Y button at that time to activate the Special Move for the character.
The performance of a Special Move varies from character to character, but Special Moves that deal damage to the front or surrounding areas are the easiest to deal damage.
| How to Get | 1. Press the B button when you're near the enemy 2. Tap B again to use the copied ability |
|---|
You can also use copied abilities to deal damage to your opponents. Many of the copied abilities can attack enemies, and both the range and method vary depending on the copied ability. Some abilities activate automatically after acquiring them.
In a City Trial, you can use items to deal damage to your opponents. Some of the items available in City Trials are Attack Items, which you can pick up to attack your opponent with.
Just like Copy Ability, the attack range and method vary depending on the item. Some Attack Items activate immediately after they're acquired.
Against bosses in City Trials, you can use your machine to hit their weak points. Some bosses have weaknesses, and it’s possible to inflict damage to them by ramming their weak points using your machine.
