Optimal Race Setup

Select Sky Sands as the course and use the race rules above for the easiest way to finish while sleeping.
Set CPU Riders and Level to 1 to decrease the chances of the Sleep Copy Ability being stolen. Set the number of laps to 1 for a quick finish, and Anti-Reverse to Off in case you need to go back.
How to Unlock Sky Sands and Hidden Paths
Wait for Noddy Behind the Finish Line
Continue along the course until you reach the section with falling pillars, just before the finish line.
Wait for Noddy, an enemy with the Sleep Copy Ability, to spawn, then attack or capture it to become inflicted with Sleep.
Note: Make sure you are facing the finish line before falling asleep, and do not wiggle the control stick!
Clear Immediately with Open Block
If you're having difficulties with this objective, you can simply use an Open Block to clear it immediately and obtain the reward. Open Blocks are obtained by performing certain feats during races.
