How to Steal a Machine That Another Rider is Actively Riding
Clear Offline VS Level 1 Bots
The best way to cheese this Checklist objective is by performing it against the lowest difficulty bots as it becomes exponentially easier to perform the rest of the steps.
In addition, load in as many bots as possible to give you the maximum amount of opportunities to clear it.
Prepare Attack UP and Speed UP Buffs
During the match, search for Attack and Speed up buffs to make it easier for you to weaken the opponents later on while being able to keep up with them.
Weaken the Opponent
Attack your opponents once you are close to them, either via basic attacks, dashes, quick spins, or even abilities. The earlier this can be done in a match, the better.
Steal Their Vehicle With The Y Button
Finally, once the enemy is adequately weakened, lock onto them while close and press the Y button. Your machine will crash into them, and you will successfully shove them off and hijack their vehicle.
You will know their machine has been weakened by looking for the black smoke and the red lock-on indicator.
