Race Solo in A Single Lap

Free Run Race with One Lap
Free Run in Air Ride mode is similar to Time Attack, but with only a single lap per race. Unlike Time Attack, there are also no enemies and you cannot use Specials in Free Run.

Race Against Your Best Run

Free Run Race Against the Best Run
When racing in Free Run, there will be a light or 'ghost' also racing on the track and is based on your fastest recorded time known as the Best Run. Just like in Time Attack, each course will have its own record for each machine used.

Explore Skyah Without Time Limit

Free Run in City Trial
City Trial's Free Run mode allows the player to explore the map with no time limit, no events, obstacles, or power-ups. It's a casual game mode where you can take time looking around the different regions of Skyah.

Access Machines At Any Time

Free Run with All Machines
All machines will be available in the underground parking lot and can be used freely! You can also open the pause menu and use the Call Machine option to summon a machine to your location.

Exclusive Flight Warp Star Machine

Flight Warp Star in Free Run

Produce Contrails in the Sky

There is also a machine only available in Free Run City Trial, the Flight Warp Star. This machine has high flight capabilities and can leave cloudy contrails in the sky.

How to Unlock Flight Warp Star and Best Riders

Take Scenic Photos

Photo Mode
You can take scenic photos while in City Trial's Free Run but opening the pause menu again and selecting the Photo Mode button. This will lead you to the camera interface where you can adjust the angle and view of the camera before taking a picture.
