During City Trial, Tacs may appear and steal your items. Learn how to find them, how to stop them, and the rewards you can get for defeating them.

What to Do When Tacs Steal Items

Chase down Tacs Marked on the Map

A band of Tacs stole Items
When the A band of Tacs stole items! event begins, Tacs will spawn around the map. A ! marker will appear. Head directly there to track them down and hit them with a Quick Spin or a Hammer attack from King Dedede.

All City Trial Events

Look for the Dark Green Furoshiki Tacs Carry

Tacs With Their Green Furoshoki Bag
Tacs have a small round body, cat-like ears, sandals, and a green furoshiki on their back. Target them once you're able to find one around the map.

Tacs will run away the moment you get too close, so use Boost to close the distance quickly before he escapes.

Defeat Tac to Recover Stolen Items

Tacs give power ups
Taking Tacs down causes them to drop a plenty of power-ups, making this event one of the best chances to boost your stats quickly. Always go after Tacs as soon as they appear.

Appears in Multiple Areas Around the Map

Attack Tacs to Recover Items
Tack can spawn in many different spots. Several Tacs may appear depending on the number of players and CPUs in the match.

Can Spawn Underground

Tacs can be found underground
If you can’t find Tacs at the ! marker above ground, check below the surface. Some spawns only occur underground, so be sure to explore both levels.
