Each Kirby Air Riders amiibo is currently priced at $49.99 USD and is set to release on November 20, 2025. Both the pricing and the release date mentioned are from Target and not from the official Nintedo store.

The riders can be taken out of its original machine and be placed onto another machine, allowing players to mix and match their amiibo! When scanning this new combination, the game should accurately pick up which rider and machine will be generated into a Figure Player.

Tank Star is the only machine whose form can change among the amiibo. Its wheel alignment can be changed so that it resembles either its gliding form or ground form.

You'll be able to train a Figure Player of your scanned amiibo alongside its machine. Only the rider will receive experience and not the machine.

Scanning a Kirby Air Riders amiibo will allow you to change the Kirby Doll's pose on the main menu. Furthermore, if you scan a different character, the doll will change to that character!

To scan your amiibo, simply touch the amiibo onto the NFC touchpoint. If you are using Joy-Con controllers, the NFC touchpoint is on the right control stick. If you are using a Pro Controller, its NFC touchpoint is over the Nintendo Switch logo on the top center of the controller.
