The available machines in Ruinous Runway stage are the Swerve Star and Hop Star machines! You can pick up the Swerve Star machine right after the first Challenge Encounter node, while you can purchase the Hop Star from the 3rd Waddle Dee shop for 10,000 Road Miles.
List of All Machines and Vehicles

After the first Challenge Encounter, you can immediately pick up the Swerve Star, alongside other items. We strongly recommend to pick the Swerve Star instead of the other stat upgrades, since it's required for you to get to the True Ending!

The Taranza Boss fight is set on a City Trial stadium that features the Treasure Hunt mini-game. Pay attention to the Key icon hovering on your screen as it will tell you the nearby key location that you can pick up. Ignore the Treasure Chest if you haven't picked up a key yet, since you won't be able to open it, anyway, without a key!
Make sure to use elevated landings to propel your machine mid-air, as some of the keys are likely located atop the buildings!

The second feature machine in Stage is the Hop Star, which you can get for 10,000 Road Miles. If you have more Miles to spare, several helpful stat upgrades such as Boost and Offense, are also available for grabs from this shop!

In this Defeat Rival stage, the easiest way to defeat the Noir Dedede is by picking up offensive abilities such as the Firework, which works best in ranged combat without the expense of lowering your damage output. You'll notice that the Noir Dedede is also nimble and moves around fairly often, so don't forget to circle around it, instead of chasing after it, to make it easier for you to land your attacks!
