Finish without Touching a Golem in Cavernous Corners

The Sky Sands course is unlocked upon completing a race in Cavernous Corners without coming into contact with a Golem. Be careful as there are two Golems that spawn next to each other!

How to Unlock Cavernous Corners

Sky Sands Hidden Paths

Ruins Byroad

Stay on the right side in the tunnel to access the ruins byroad behind the sand.

Door Hidden Underground

Boost over the panel on the floor by pressing the B button to open a pathway underground.

Ability Effect
Bomb Bomb Hold and release the Boost Charge button to throw the bomb!
Cutter Cutter Press the Boost Charge button to throw a razor-sharp blade!
Fighter Fighter Automatically kick nearby opponents. Your Quick Spin will also get stronger!
Fire Fire Press the Boost Charge button to release a fireball!
Mike Mike Show off your singing skills in a wide-reaching attack!
Needle Needle Extend your needles by Boost Charging to hit nearby rivals with a spiny attack!
Plasma Plasma Charges automatically. Release a Boost Charge to unleash the stored energy!
Sleep Sleep Get some well-earned rest... or wiggle the control stick to wake up!
Sword Sword Slash automatically at nearby enemies and rivals!
