Kirby Air Riders uses a ranking system called Class to help group players by experience during online play. This guide explains how the Ranking System works and how Class differs from Global Win Power.

Global Win Power is a number on your license showing your global ranking based on total wins. For example, a ranking of 300,000 means you are ahead of 299,999 players worldwide.
Unlike systems like Global Smash Power, it does not measure strength, skill, or win percentage and increases as you play more matches. However, this is not connected to Class Rankings.

In Kirby Air Riders, Classes use seven colors of the rainbow: Orange, Red, Violet, Green, Indigo, Yellow, and Blue to group players by their overall experience in each mode rather than by strength.
This system matches you with players who have a similar play history, helping keep online races and battles fun and competitive without major skill gaps.

Air Ride, Top Ride, and City Trial each have separate Classes, so your ranking may differ depending on the mode you are playing.

While a higher Class does not make you more powerful, you may notice more changes in City Trial occur as your Class increases. This adjustment is intended to add variety and challenge while keeping gameplay enjoyable for everyone. Overall, Class is more about matchmaking accuracy than skill hierarchy.

A higher class (color) suggests that a player with the class performs well more often than they perform poorly. Your class only goes up when you place high enough to satisfy the condition. Not performing well enough can result in your class not rising or even lowering.

The game isn't very generous with how much you rank up after a match... Getting to the Rainbow class in City Trial specifically takes a long time.
