The stats were taken at the Garage, unaffected by any Rider's stats. But, the numerical values are estimates as they are not shown in-game!
Marx's boost in the Grip stat makes sharper turns more manageable with Rex Wheelie, and its natural bulk offsets Marx's low HP. The slight reduction in Weight stat is negligible due to the minimal speed reduction, and Rex Wheelie's naturally high Offensive stat allows it to perform relatively well in battle stadiums.
When behind in a race, Marx's Special allows a comeback due to its crowd control, or further widens the lead with its speed boost.
