Waddle Doo and the Wheelie Bike make a great pair for racing since the bike helps out Waddle Doo's low Turn and Grip stats. Waddle Doo has good stats in terms of acceleration and speed, so having the higher Turn and Grip on the bike helps them out when it comes to curves in races.

How to Hit 2 Riders With a Single Optic-Blast Attack
Race Against a Lobby of Level 9 CPUs
To hit 2 riders with a single optic-blast attack, battle against a full lobby of level 9 CPUs in Top Ride with items disabled in the match.
Once the match starts, stay in last place to position yourself behind enemies, then remain nearby for Waddle Doo to perform their optic-blasts. It is advised to have a higher number of laps in the race to allow for multiple attempts to complete the Checklist mission.
