Winged Star's high Lift and Flight Speed allows it to remain airborne and cover more distance than most vehicles. Building the Glide stat during the city phase further raises its potential, especially when paired with Meta Knight.

Your launch from the ramp sets the stage for the entire run. Make sure to hit every boost pad to generate momentum that will catapult you far into the course.
Stabilize Machine's Speed and Altitude
Play with the angle of your machine, tilting it slightly to settle into a stable glide. Just hold that angle to maximize your airtime and cover the most ground.
Optimize Your Machine for Flight
To maximize your distance, focus on building a machine with a high Glide stat and with less Weight as much as possible. Glide allows you to stay airborne longer, while being lightweight helps you gain and maintain altitude.
