How to Maximize Speed
Press B When Approaching Curves
When there's a curve, you can repeatedly press the B button to pump up and down. This makes your driving during a curve more stable and allows you to pass through it without any issues.
Drive Through Sharp Curves By Drifting
When there's a sharp curve ahead, you can easily drive through it by drifting. After you drift, you also get a Boost Charge right after to pick up your speed!
Hold down the B button to initiate a drift and then release it to get your Boost Charge!
Do Perfect Landings
When you fall after a jump, you can do a perfect landing to accelerate forward after you land. Use the L button to tilt your machine and align it parallel to the ground to get a perfect landing. Mastering this will allow you to get a short boost right after landing!
Defeat Enemies Using Quick Spin
When you defeat an enemy using Quick Spin, you'll get a short speed boost right after. Use the L button and wiggle it from side to side to do a Quick Spin.
Use The Stars Behind Your Opponents
While racing, you'll notice a trail of stars that some of your opponents leave behind them. You can use this trail to gain speed and catch up with your opponents.
If you see a trail of stars, make sure to get closer to your opponent since it will boost you faster when you're close to them.

Use A Machine With High Speed
Apart from speed boosting techniques, choosing a Machine with high speed and acceleration is a must for races. Choose a Machine that has a high stat in both, and you're sure to get ahead of the competition.

Choose A Rider With Good Stats
Just like Machines, Riders have stats of their own and affect their machine's performance. Choose a character that has high speed stats when entering a race and pair it up with a speedy machine to ensure victory!
