How to Boost Charge and Dash

Hold Down the B Button to Boost Charge

Hold down the B button or equivalent on your controller to make your machine stop and stay in place, after which it will automatically begin Charging.

Release Button to Boost Dash

When the gauge on the lower right side of the screen is filled, release the button to let your machine Dash forward with a burst of speed!

Avoid Overcharging

If you hold the Boost button too long, your machine will overcharge and take damage instead. Remember to keep an eye on the gauge to avoid overcharging!

Use At the Start of the Race

Boost Charge is a great way to dash ahead at the start of the race! Start boosting as the countdown starts and let go at 1 to charge ahead.

Use in Sharp Turns

Boost Charge is also best utilized in tight corners to make a sharp turn by using Boost Charge while turning, letting your machine Drift.
