Go to Cape Caem, look for Tony, and trade Caem Carrots (x4) for a Force Stealer (Weapon). If you don't have Caem Carrots yet, grow some first and wait for the next day for its harvest time. You can rest at Cape Caem - Hidden Getaway and trade the carrots the next day.
Speak with Cid at Hammerhead; he will help you upgrade your weapon, but first, you need to find the item that he is asking.
Monster Claw is an item that you can only obtain from a Bandersnatch, which you can find at Malmalam Thicket (Leide). This beast is tough to defeat, but the drop rate of Monster Claw is 100% so you just need to defeat one to get the item for Cid.
Talk to Cid and hand over the Monster Claw to upgrade the Force Stealer. Upgrading this weapon will take some time; spend it by hunting and then sleep afterwards. Wait for Cid's call and go back to Hammerhead to complete this sidequest.
