How to Unlock A Better Engine Blade II

Location Hammerhead
Unlock Condition Obtain Engine Blade I, and complete "Cid Sophiar, Master Mechanic" sidequest.

A Better Engine Blade II Clear Conditions and Rewards

Clear Condition Collect a Glass Gemstone and deliver it to Cid to upgrade the weapon.
Reward 800 EXP
Engine Blade III

How to Complete A Better Engine Blade II

Talk to Cid

Speak with Cid to begin this sidequest. He will help you upgrade your weapon, but you need to find the item that he is asking.

Find the Glass Gemstone

Go to Outpost Lestallum and get the Glass Gemstone on the table (behind the food stand) at Newfields building.

Upgrade to Engine Blade III

Talk to Cid by returning to Hammerhead. Hand over the Glass Gemstone to upgrade the Engine Blade II . Upgrading this weapon will take some time; wait for a few minutes, or go hunting. Talk to Cid again to complete this sidequest.
