How to Use Items

Tactical Menu

Tactical menu

You can see the lists of usable items in the Tactical Menu by pressing R2 and navigating through different categories by using the Dpad.

Using Consumables

Under the Items menu is a list of consumables that you currently have. Choose an item and select the party member you want to use it to.

Take note that there are certain conditions that will prevent you from using an item on a party member such as using a healing item on someone who is already at full HP.

Below is a list of all the consumables in the game.

Item Effect
Antidote Remove Poison status from target
Elixir Restore 50% of lowered max HP and recover 100% of max HP and max MP; remove Danger status and Stasis
Ether Recover 100% of max MP; removes Statis
Flesh Fortifier Increase Vitality of target by 200 for 40 seconds
Gold Needle Remove Stone status from target
Hi-Elixir Restore 100% of lowered max HP and recover 100% of max HP and max MP; remove Danger status and Stasis
Hi-Potion Recover 100% of target's max HP; remove Danger status
Magitek Booster Reduce MP consumption to zero for 20 seconds
Maiden's Kiss Remove Toad status from target
Mega Phoenix Revive all downed party members
Mega-Potion Recover 100% of max HP of all party members; remove Danger status
Megalixir Restore 100% of lowered max HP and recover 100% of max HP and max MP for all party members; remove Danger status and Stasis
Mettle VX Increase Vitality of target by 100 for 120 seconds
Moogle Plushie Set moogle plushie on the field; the enemies around the plushie will target it
Muscle Stimulant Increase Strength of target by 200 for 40 seconds
Phoenix Down (Phoenix Tail) Revive downed target
Potion Recover 50% of target's max HP; removes Danger status
Power EX Increase Strength of target by 100 for 120 seconds
Reflex Enhancer Automatically evade attacks without input for 20 seconds
Remedy (Panacea) Remove Poison, Stone, Confusion, and Toad statuses from target
Smelling Salts Remove Confusion status from target
Spirit ZX Increase Spirit of target by 100 for 120 seconds
Superior Restorative +30% to target's HP Recovery Rate for 30 seconds
Verve WX Increase Magic of target by 100 for 120 seconds
