Known as the 'Dragoon,' Aranea Highwind can cause heavy damage against the party. She is fond of using her signature skill, Highwind, which portrays her jumping from above and attacking with her preferred weapon, the Stoss Spear. When she becomes a member of the party as a guest, she will use Highwind as a party skill, helping Noctis' group defeat many enemies at once.

How to Beat Aranea

Aranea Highwind becomes a guest party member later on, but Noctis first clashes with her as an enemy. She uses Highwind frequently, making her hard to track and fight. However, this is also the best way to damage her--block her attack, then parry with an attack of your own. Aranea's attacks can also continuously sap Noctis' MP. Using the Ring of the Lucii against her, while using Holy, is a good way of regaining MP, although it wouldn't damage her as much as normal attacks.
