The party gears up in their royal garb, heading towards the citadel. Eliminate the first party of Eternal Troopers you come across. |
| 2 | You'll pass by a battle between monsters and Eternal Troopers. Try to navigate a path where you won't be fighting both of them. |
| 3 | Go straight instead for the Ariadne on your way to the quest marker. Pass through the underground train stations on your way to the marker. |
| 4 | Prepare for the Lv35 troopers and Salpinx in the subway. |
| 5 | When you emerge, there is a Lv42 Behemoth King blocking the path to your goal. Defeat it to move on. |

The battle against Ifrit will be a repeat of the opening sequence, where Noct and the others are trying to fight their way through. |

Once you defeat Ifrit, you will receive the Infernian's mark, and Shiva's parting words. Take the elevator up to Ardyn and the throne room once you can move again freely. |

Once you get inside the throne room, confront Ardyn directly. Ardyn will drag you into a battle where the first will be against his strength and swordsplay. |

The next will be against him using his own Armiger, and the last will be a 'war of attrition'. |

After the battle, Noct will find himself in the throne room, ready to continue to defeat Ardyn in the Other World. |
| 5 | All the past kings of Lucis goes for Noct in the throne room after the battle, as his friends go to battle daemons. |

Noct meets Ardyn in the afterlife as he tries to end his evil. Noctis fades in the light, even as Ardyn fades away as well. |
