Things to Do Around Each Town

Gather Information for Nearby Spots

Talk

Upon arriving at a new town, you should check the diner or restaurant in the area and talk to its owner. This will put marks on your map pinpointing the locations of nearby spots like havens, fishing spots, mining locations, and more!

Eat Meals for Buffs

Diner Recipe

Since you are already in a diner or a restaurant, why not try out the dishes that they serve here? These give different buffs and Ignis might also learn a new recipe from them!

Join Hunts

Bounty hunt list

You can also check the bounty hunts posted on each diner or restaurant for extra gil and item. Remember that you can only have 10 active hunts at the same time.

Lodging

Towns have lodgings where you can rest and spend the night. Resting on these also gives a boost in EXP when being tallied so do this especially when you have farmed a lot of EXP!

Shop

Check the shops for better equipments that can help you match with the ever increasing difficulty of enemies.
