Chancellor of Niflheim. Ardyn rose to power by introducing magitek infantry to the ranks of the imperial army, and has since amassed political power at the emperor's side. An aloof manner shrouds the chancellor in mystery.

Skills and Abilities

Ardyn usually appears as a strangely polite man with effective charisma used in manipulation, deception, and leadership.

In addition to immortality and dark-elemental magic granted to him by the Starscourge, Ardyn also has his own Armiger, can use Elemancy at will, and the ability to phase or warp. He can also turn himself into a miasma, similar to how daemons appear and disappear, and use it for mobility.

Being the Starscourge incarnate, he is capable of turning others into daemons and manipulate their memories.

Ardyn appears to also have the ability to suspend time and even create a force field similar to the Wall that protected the Insomnia Citadel.
