To get the Gravity Well, go to Aracheole Stronghold and search for the big white building located at the center. Once found, enter the building and look for the small office near the entrance. Then, you'll see the item on the ground near the window. Once you obtain Gravity Well, speak with Cid to will help you with upgrading your weapon.
Hydraulic Cylinder is an item dropped by an MA-X Patria with a 97% drop rate, which you can found from Chapter five onward after you've defeated an MA-X Maniple. Since it has a high drop rate, there's a big chance that you'll get it after killing one or two MA-X Patria.
If you don't want to fight any monster to have it, you can check Old Lestallum's diner and ask the Tipster to reveal all the locations nearby so you can find the treasure spot where you can get a Hydraulic Cylinder.
To locate the Hydraulic Cylinder, check your map and search for the nearest Treasure Spot above the Fort Vaullerey parking spot and travel to that location.
Once you are there, go straight ahead to the electric post area and look for a big rock formation. You will notice a glowing red matter above it; pick it up to get the Hydraulic Cylinder.
Talk to Cid by returning to Hammerhead. Hand over the Hydraulic Cylinder to upgrade the Gravity Well. Upgrading this weapon will take some time; spend it by hunting or sleep at any haven. Wait for Cid's call and go back complete this sidequest.
