The Mutant Marauder - Story Walkthrough and Guide

FFXV The Mutant Marauder Walkthrough

List of Objectives
1	During nighttime, Ignis will advise you to eat a cooked meal before heading out. Agree to do so. You're also going to find spots called 'havens' on the map.
2	There's also a caravan, where rests are charged 30 gil from your party. Staying in havens are free, though, and Ignis acts as the camp's cook.
3	Staying at havens or similar places adds to your AP and levels. Near havens, there are also places where elemental energy can be absorbed. Take note of these.
4	Prepare for the fight by absorbing nearby elemental energy. Fight against the Mutant Dualhorn by linking chain attacks and teaming up
5	Once the Dualhorn is defeated, Cindy calls and thanks your party for rescuing Dave.
6	Note that there is a mineral drawpoint near the Mutant Dualhorn. Mine it after you've defeated the beast.
7	Go back to the stop once you're done to retrieve the Regalia, which is repaired by now.

Tips and Strategies

This is a list of important things to do in the quest The Mutant Marauder. Read on to find out which of them is crucial to proceeding.

• Ignis will tell you to camp out or eat a cooked meal before going on a mission. As these provide buffs to your party, it is wise to heed his advice.
• Later on, in the game, staying in camps or outposts will count towards your Ascension Points (AP), so camp out or stay in similar places when you can.
• Places of elemental energies are also marked on the map. When you find yourself running low on materials for creating spells, search them out.
• Link strikes and teaming up are good tactics against the Mutant Dualhorn. Take heed of his elemental and weapon weaknesses too, using the Libra technique.

• The Bloodhorn is a mutant Dualhorn
• Its physical weakness are against spears
• Using the Fire spell is particularly effective against it too
• Treat this battle as a fight against a significantly stronger Dualhorn in the early stages of the game
